Laundry for the Frugal Mama

Ditching and switching seem astronomical and out of reach? Think again.

In this blog, I'll share with you how to get 240 loads out of your 32 oz bottle of thieves! Plus, I'll share my Dryer Ball Spray Recipe to get rid of my stinky farm and teenage boy stenches!

This week I shared how to double your Thieves Laundry Soap simply by setting aside half of it, adding in equal parts water and an extra boost of Thieves with Thieves Household Cleaner.

Double Thieves Laundry Soap Recipe:

- Split Thieves 32 oz. Laundry Soap in half (pour into a mason jar if you don't have an empty bottle)

- Add 16 oz. of room temperature water

- Add 3 capfuls of Thieves Household Cleaner

Mix slowly by rotating the bottle 2 or 3 times

Remember it only takes a small amount for 1 load of laundry because it is highly concentrated. When you receive it, the bottle will do 120+ loads and is 6x concentrated compared to your average detergent. By using less, doubling your bottle, you'll get 240+ loads easy peasy!

You can also add 10 drops of your favorite fresh, laundry oils like lemon, orange, purification, or lemongrass to your bottle if it tickles your fancy. Or a drop per load, directly in with your soap.

Stink-Be-Gone Dryer Ball Spray Recipe:

- 16 oz. Amber Bottle

- 1 TBSP of Witch Hazel

- 20-30 drops of your favorite fresh-smelling oils {I do 10 drops each of Lemongrass, Lemon, and Purification in the video}

- Fill with room temperature water {tap is fine if that's how your laundry is washed anyway- ain't nobody filtering that laundry water}
