But… I think I made a huge mistake calling these simply “blueberry biscuits.” 😂

Because these are NOT your average biscuits.

They’re soft, buttery, drizzled with sweet vanilla icing, bursting with juicy blueberries or cinnamon… and honestly? They give major nostalgic vibes.

And if you remember Bojangles’ old cinnamon biscuits, just know that we understood the assignment. 🤍✨

It’s far more than a $6 frozen lemonade. 🍋💛

Behind every cup are lessons I hope my children carry with them long after summer is over.

This year, I invested in a slushy machine for them to use at the Farmstand. Their job? To help pay it back. Not because I need the money, but because I want them to understand the value behind the things we own and the work it takes to earn them.

They’re learning about:
✨ entrepreneurship and taking initiative
✨ saving and investing
✨ customer service and communication
✨ cleanliness and food safety
✨ serving others with kindness
✨ showing up and working hard
✨ and the value of a dollar earned

Earlier this week, they got to spend some of the tip money they worked so hard for, each choosing something special that they wanted. Watching them make thoughtful decisions with money they earned themselves was one of my favorite moments of the week.

The truth is, I don’t think we’re raising future lemonade or maybe farmstand owners (although maybe we are 😉). I think we’re raising children who will one day be adults who understand responsibility, generosity, perseverance, and the joy that comes from meaningful work.

So thank you to every person who has stopped by, encouraged them, left a tip, or patiently waited while little hands learned how to do big things.

You’re helping us build something much sweeter than frozen lemonade. 🤍🍋

The other day a friend asked me why I decided to go back into physical products… and honestly, the answer surprised even me 🤍

This little farmstand wasn’t born out of extra time or boredom. It came during one of the fullest, hardest, most exhausting seasons of motherhood.

After years of pregnancies, breastfeeding, sleepless nights, survival mode, and pouring everything I had into my babies… I felt depleted.

Like the mama flamingo whose pink had faded from giving everything away in the best way to my babies🦩🌸

And then one morning, God planted this idea in my heart.

Not just a farmstand…
but a place for creativity, beauty, hospitality, homemade food, and COMMUNITY to come alive again.

A place where moms could make and bake from home without sacrificing their families in the process 🤍

And somehow… little by little… my pink started coming back too.

This farmstand has become so much more than bread and baked goods. It’s become a reminder that motherhood doesn’t mean the end of creativity, dreams, or purpose.

Sometimes it just looks different than before 🌿

I decided to stop putting pressure on myself to have the stand perfectly stocked the second we open.

Instead, I’m giving myself flexibility and guaranteeing preorder pickups within the hour of opening.

Because the reality is… I’m usually out there by myself in the early morning hours while my husband stays inside with the babies so they can keep sleeping while I work 🤍

And every single order has to be:
✨ packed
✨ labeled
✨ organized
✨ carried one-by-one from our basement kitchen to the stand

It’s a labor of love… but also a learning curve 😅

And honestly?
I think I’m probably the only one truly panicking about it 😂

Here’s to 37 🌸

A little wiser.
A little slower.
And honestly… a lot more fun.

At 27, I thought life was about chasing more.
More success.
More certainty.
More proof that I was doing enough.

But somewhere along the way, life softened me.

Now I find joy in slower mornings, homemade bread, bike rides with my babies, flowers from the garden, meaningful conversations, and building a life that feels full—not just busy.

This season may not look glamorous by the world’s standards, but it feels rich in all the ways that matter most!

37 feels like learning that happiness isn’t always found in the big milestones…
Sometimes it’s found in sticky kitchen counters, late night laughter, watching birds on the porch, and the beautiful chaos of raising a family while still making room for your dreams.

I’m deeply grateful for every lesson, every hard season, every answered prayer, and every unexpected turn that brought me here 🌸

Here’s to living a little lighter.
Laughing a little louder.
Holding the people I love a little closer.

And continuing to grow exactly where I’m planted 🌱

At 27, I thought life was about chasing more.
More success.
More certainty.
More proof that I was doing enough.

But somewhere along the way, life softened me.

Now I find joy in slower mornings, homemade bread, bike rides with my babies, flowers from the garden, meaningful conversations, and building a life that feels full—not just busy.

This season may not look glamorous by the world’s standards, but it feels rich in all the ways that matter most!

37 feels like learning that happiness isn’t always found in the big milestones…
Sometimes it’s found in sticky kitchen counters, late night laughter, watching birds on the porch, and the beautiful chaos of raising a family while still making room for your dreams.

I’m deeply grateful for every lesson, every hard season, every answered prayer, and every unexpected turn that brought me here 🌸

Here’s to living a little lighter.
Laughing a little louder.
Holding the people I love a little closer.

In full transparency… mine wasn’t perfect.

It was delightful and chaotic.
Overstimulating and exhausting.
Beautiful and hard.

And honestly?
I think motherhood is often both at the same time.

This weekend, one of the women who stopped by the stand shared something that really stayed with me. She said one year she decided to stop waking up on Mother’s Day wondering how everyone was going to serve her… and instead asked herself:

“How can I be a blessing to my family today?”

That hit me right where I needed it.

So instead of focusing on every unmet expectation or chaotic moment, I tried to notice the good.

My oldest surprising me with flowers 🌸
Taking the little kids to paint so I could breathe for a second… even if it ended with our English Cream Golden’s tail covered in black paint and streaked across my white walls 😂

The beauty of our first family bike ride around Furman… even if someone melted down 20 minutes in.

The quiet drive to grab ice cream for everyone.

My husband finally shampooing the dining room rug and chairs covered in months of fingerprints, berries, crumbs, and signs of a life fully lived around our table.

I don’t know if you’re a “glass half full” or “glass half empty” kind of person…

But I think there’s room to acknowledge both the beauty and the hard.

To tell the truth about the exhaustion of this season while still choosing gratitude in the middle of it.

Because motherhood isn’t picture perfect.
And neither is family life.

It’s messy. Loud. Emotional. Beautiful. Sacred. Stretching.

Perfectly imperfect.

And I think more moms need to hear this:
Despite what social media can make it seem like… no one’s life is as flawless as it looks online.

Meet Krista—one of the sweet mamas behind the treats on our stand… and one of my oldest friends.

We’ve known each other since first grade, lost touch for a season, and then found our way back to friendship years later—cycling, hiking, going to church, and now… raising babies and baking from home side by side 🌿

Meet Krista—one of the sweet mamas behind the treats on our stand… and one of my oldest friends.

We’ve known each other since first grade, lost touch for a season, and then found our way back to friendship years later—cycling, hiking, going to church, and now… raising babies and baking from home side by side 🌿

And now we get to do this together, which just feels like such a gift 🤍

Krista says the heart behind her business is @keeping.home.made —a name that couldn’t be more fitting using each of her boys’ initials!

It’s truly a family affair… with her boys right there alongside her, and a home that smells like a bakery and a coffee shop (honestly, the dream 😍)
