My All-Day, Everything Oil

Sleep and slumber or the daily work grind, this oil is the ONE oil I use all day long. I diffuse it in my office and I use it in my sleep roller with lavender and Freddie's diffuser at night. It's literally my staple.

And... it's perfect for this fall season.

This month the oil we are featuring is Cedarwood.

Benefits

Has skin-cleansing properties
Purifies the air from bad odors
Reduces musky aromas in moist, damp environments
Enhances massage after activity
Includes the naturally occurring constituents neral, geranial, limonene, and beta-caryophyllene

Diffuser Blends

Here are a few blends to get you started.

Falling Leaves

2 drops Cedarwood
2 drops Orange
2 drops Clove

Freddie's Slumber

3 drops Cedarwood
3 drops Lavender

Lauren's Daily Work Grind

2 drops Cedarwood
3 drops Bergamot (or lime)

Roller Blends

Did you know you could use the same diffuser blend recipes for your roller bottle blends?! Yep! Create a roller blend with a 10 ml roller bottle and 20-30 drops of your favorite oils and blends. Fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil.

Freddie's Slumber

8 drops Cedarwood
12-15 drops Lavender

Uses:

Aromatic:

Create custom scents featuring Cedarwood on its own or as a base for your own signature scent. Try combining it with essential oils such as Tea Tree, Neroli, or Bergamot.
Enjoy the outdoors annoyance free with Cedarwood blended with oils such as Citronella, Rosemary, Tea Tree, Myrtle, Clove, or Lemongrass.

Topical:

Enhances appearance of skin and hair. Place a few drops in your shampoo and conditioner for shinier-looking hair.
Cleanse your skin. Make your skin smooth by adding a drop or two of Cedarwood to your favorite lotions and skin care products.
Make a scalp massage serum. Warm a few drops between your hands and rub into your scalp for healthy-looking hair.

Pairs well with:

Tea Tree, Neroli, Lavender, Orange, Bergamot, Citronella, Rosemary, Tea Tree, Myrtle, Clove, or Lemongrass.
