Before you judge me for doing a copy-cat recipe from Hooters chicken, just try it! Don't get me wrong, I don't condone booty shorts and shirts 3 sizes too small and cleavage, but I know good chicken when I taste it. And, I've always LOVED Hooters Chicken Sandwich.
Years ago when they first came out with their sauce in the grocery story, I was stoked to be able to make them from home. However, I stepped it up a notch. I've added Frank's Hot Sauce to the mix- because it's simple not a buffalo chicken sandwich without Franks- sorry, not sorry.
Whether you take this sandwich loaded or just a little butter, it's delicious and you can now even by the Hooter's chicken batter in a bag- which is a win for me because I love making my life a little easier!
